ONE ANGEL FOUNDATION’S 13TH ANNUAL WORLD HIKE A MOUNTAIN DAY IS NOW WORLD HIKE A MOUNTAIN MONTH
For the past twelve years, we have held World Hike a Mountain Day on the Second Saturday in October with hikes at our home mountain Wachusett Mountain in Massachusetts and around the world. As our world changed with Covid 19 we began to do the hikes in smaller groups at each of our local mountains and trails. With our busy lives and crazy weather, it has become clear that bringing people into one location or even one day is difficult. The original purpose of World Hike a Mountain Day was to enjoy a beautiful fall day with the ones we love and to support One Angel’s mission of helping children around the world with educational and family initiatives.
So this year we are promoting October as World Hike a Mountain Month to allow individuals, families, and friends to take advantage of any beautiful fall day in October and hike, walk or roll on a mountain, beach, trail, road, or location near you. We ask that you let us know where you are hiking and with whom so that we can acknowledge your efforts. Please send us pictures and a story of where you are. When you hike, walk, run, or roll we ask that you and your group also help us with a donation either by check or by paypal.

Each year we have friends that join us for World Hike a Mountain Day not only around the United States but around the world. We already have folks joining us in California, New York, New Jersey, Vermont Florida, South Carolina, and internationally in Hong Kong, Guatemala, Spain, and Honduras. Please join us again virtually in spirit by hiking, walking, or biking a mountain, trail or beach near you. Please let us know where you hiked with pictures and a story!
Monies raised by this event will be used to further One Angel’s mission of supporting educational opportunities for children in need.
